The 65 scorecards in this lot date between 1931 and 1950.  Some cards have printed dates such as 194_ and some cards are marked with the date when they were used.   Not all of the cards have dates. In those instances where they don't, a concerted, conscientious effort was made to catalog the cards based on physical and stylistic factors—and the nature of the card. The auctioneer makes no guarantees that every one of the 65 cards is dated accurately.  But the effort was made to do so.

Note that this lot actually contains 92 scorecards!   There are 22 Melrose Country Club scorecards but only 1 was counted in the 65 total. A number of them were dated from various points during 1932.  Also, there are 7 Burlington Country Club scorecards that also date from various points in 1932. Only 1 of these was counted to reach the 65 total.  J.A. Zelley's score is on all of the Burlington CC cards, along with various other golfers he played with. Zelley's name is also on a number of the Melrose CC cards, but not all of them.

All the different cards in this lot are pictured. They are presented in mylar page holders that are pictured first the front side, then the back side, and then the next page and repeat.  In some instances cards are out of their sheet protectors for a closer look.  These are not duplicates. They are the same card(s) that are shown in their mylar sheet protector(s).

A rough data base that lists all the cards in this lot was prepared. It is shown the last two images attached to this lot.  A few notes about the cards were entered into this data base, but they are not comprehensive or entirely consistent.  Even so, they are hopefully helpful to some degeree.

This is, yet again, another great lot of scorecards that include some of the most famous courses in the world.
