The circa 1920 Avon H weighted tee, made from India rubber, has a large brass weight on one end and a raised cone/cup that will hold the ball at the other end. for being 100 years old, this tee remains in good shape, with all writing clearly visible.
The black rubber diamond-shaped tee, with a raised cone to hold the ball in the center, was covered under US design patent No. 161,283 issued to S.J. Rogers in 1950. The example offered here is in perfect condition.
