Golfers used sand to elevate/tee
up their ball for centuries. Molds that would pick up the sand and
allow it to be set in place with ease and consistency were in use by
1890. These sand tee molds took a variety of shapes and designs over the
next few decades, one of the simplest being the F&S sand tee mold
offered here.
This brass F&S mold is actually two molds in one. One side will
make a high tee and the other will make a low tee. "F&S" is stamped
on the base of the tall tee.
