Produced primarily during the 1920s, giant niblicks are among the
most popular golf collectibles. Even non-golfers view giant niblicks in
amazement as their size is so eye-catching.
This example was made by Cochrane, and has Cochrane's Bowline knot
cleekmark on the back of the head which is also stamped "Mammoth
Niblick, Made in Scotland, Warranted Hand Forged, Finnigan's Ltd, Manchester & Liverpool". The face depth measures 3 9/16 inches. The shaft and grip are original (the top of the grip is wrapped in cellophane tape) and
the head shows relatively little use. A great club! With a lovely rounded head.
