During the late 1970s and well into the 1980s vintage MacGregor Tommy Armour woods and irons were not only popular, they bordered on magical.  The after market demand for many such MacGregor clubs—especially Tommy Armour models—grew to levels where good players would often pay prices that exceeded the cost of the set when new. 

Produced in 1963, this Tommy Armour A1 Silver Scott iron set consists of 2 thru 9, 11, and TP Expediter (sand wedge) in incredible original condition. The stiff Pro-Pel 1 shafts, leather wrap grips, ferrules and shaft bands are all original.The 2 iron measures 38 1/2" inches, standard for its day.

The consignor, who is not a golfer, inherited these clubs from his father who worked at MacGregor for much of his life.  This is a great opportunity to roll back the clock and pick up a classic set of Genuine Tommy Armour irons that show little to no use, and with a starting bid less than the cost when new.
