Complete with a full brass soleplate, the brassie in this set measures 43" in length.  Complete with a brass slip and backweight, the spoon measures 41 1/2" in length.

The lighter colored spoon is faintly stamped "Geo L. Sprafka, Chicago" on the top of the head.  The brassie is not stamped as far as the auctioneer can tell.  Both clubs are solid with their original shafts and grips. The Brassie has an extra wrap of whipping low on the shaft, likely installed to stiffen the shaft for a modern day hickory golfer. The face on both clubs has been altered to provide a bit more loft. The auctioneer believes their white inserts are made from ivorine, not genuine ivory.
