It's short. It's stout..  It has a handle... It has a spout!  The best teapot ever!!

This brilliant antique teapot is made to the image of an 1890s mesh gutty ball. It measures 9" tall (with handle) and 5 3/4" in diameter (not including the spout). Oh, and it has a lid!  The kettle is solid and sturdy, with one small dent low on the side as shown in one of the images.  There appears to be a light glue smear around the base of the spout. Possibly occurring in an effort to fill in the thin seam between the spout and kettle. The spout itself, however, is solid and undamaged, and looks in perfect keeping with the rest of the piece. The 1890s Mussleburgh golf ball included in an image and shown for perspective is not part of this lot.  It is available as its own lot elsewhere in this auction.

Three maker marks are imprinted on the bottom of the kettle.

What self-respecting golf ball collector would not want such a glowing statement of their passion as this! It's go time!  Dang it, this kettle is just sooo neat!
