Made by George Ducommun, this 2 3/4" pocket is inscribed inside of its dust cover "Doxa Hors Concours Liege 1905" and "Medaille D'Or Milan 1906" in honor of the gold medal he won with his antimagnetic Doxa watch at the 1906 World's Fair in Milan, Italy. The back of the dust cover is engrave 462485. This is a British design registration number that dates to 1904.

It's face features a colorful golf scene, complete with a 3D ball that jiggles back and forth as the seconds tick. The watch is in outstanding cosmetic condition.  The stem works, and the hands can change, but the clock does not work. It's quite possible that a good cleaning is all it will need to work.The golf ball shown in the images is not part of the lot, but is shown to provide scale.
