These three club covers, marked 1, 2, & 3 respectively, measure approximately 45 inches long, have leather tops to encase the clubheads, and canvas/fabric type material to encase the shafts.  A plastic tube from the 1960s has been added/inserted down the fabric to help it hold its shape.  Black fabric has been slipped over the end of each tube as it extends below the end of the original cover.  The leather at the top of these three club covers has stiffened with age and is not pliable.  Cracking in the leather is visible.  I am able to get a wood in and out of each cover, but it is a tight fit with little give. Still, these cut quite an image.  If a person knows how to work with leather and soften it up, that would be a real good thing. Simply rubbing this leather with leather conditioner won't cut it.

I have been told that these almost never seen vintage full-length club covers were made for transporting clubs in vintage automobiles.  I have no idea if that is true, but they would certainly work for that even if that was not their original purpose.
