Produced by J.P. Cochrane, this “The Challenger” ball is shown on page 76 of Kevin McGimpsey’s book “The Story of the Golf Ball” and is identified in a Cochrane advertisement as a “Floating Challenger.” The ball has one strike mark, some minor paint loss, and overall is in above average condition.
