Stamped “Catlin’s Special” on one pole and “Manor Flyer” on the other, this rubber-core ball is not recorded in any of the existing books that document golf balls. Talk about rare!
This ball shows little to no use. There are no strike marks and the remaining red paint is spread evenly across the ball. Golfers used red balls when frost or light snow covered the ground, and sometimes when daisies were in bloom. A terrific piece for any ball collection!
