Made by Desmo at some point in the 1930s, this beautifully crafted statuette possesses strong artistic elements.  The golfer is maintaining his balance in a captivating out-of-balance finish to his swing.  His clothing, etc., is rich in detail.  Marked "Desmo" on the front of the base and "Copyright" on the rear, this chrome-plate over bronze/brass golfer measures just over 5 inches in height and is hefty for its size. The club appears to have never been plated. 

Desmo made a wide array of hood ornaments when they were in business in the UK. There is a threaded port under the base of this golfer that allows for mounting on a vintage vehicle if desired.  This golfer would also look great in a home or office. It could be displayed as is or mounted to a small wood base.   Again, the
