This entirely original tethered tee is a 2-foot-long tethered Perfect Tee. (Lot 6 in this auction has an entire retail display box full of Perfect Tees that us a nail to fasten to the ground.)  One end of the cord was cast inside the lead weight. The raised red tee on the other end of the cord was made out of rubber that has hardened over time and is now ceramic-like in nature.  Consequently, it feels solid despite the appearance of small hairline cracks on its surface.

These cracks do not go through the tee.  The underside has its own similar random surface cracks. Because the tee has now turned hard, the auctioneer believes the cracks are done forming and the tee will ever be just how it is now.   When viewed from a couple of feet away, the hairline cracks are not noticeable and the tee is handsome and strikes a strong pose.  If you collect tees, don't let the cracks fool you.  This tee would be a great addition to any collection.
