This aluminum mallet putter is stamped "Huntly" on the top of the head along with quite the sellers mark, which reads "Cogswell & Harrison Ltd, Opposite Law Courts, 225 Strand, WC". Cogswell & Harrison were far better known for being a gun dealer than a golf retailer.
The key feature on this club is the shaft which has an integral rectangular wood grip, grooved out to receive the golfer's thumbs. Huntly grips were covered under a British patent dated Sept, 29, 1920. The patent number can still be seen lightly stamped at the top of the wood grip. TCA2 V2 p676
