The toe on this unusual iron is modeled after the pointed toe design of Walter Cannon’s elliptical iron patented in the UK in 1912. Neither club met with any success, however, and remaining pointed toe irons are few and far between.
The back of the head is marked “Stainless Special Pitcher, Fortmason Picadilly London, Warranted Hand Forged, Made in Scotland.
