During the 19th century, some die-hard's would use a red ball when golfing in light snow or with frost on the ground, or when the rough on some holes was abloom with daisies. The circa 1890 solid gutta percha ball offered here remains in its original red paint, and the color is strong. Overall, this is an excellent ball and would stand out in any ball collection.
