The Royal Liverpool Golf Club, a History 1869 – 1932 by Guy B. Farrar. 1st Edition. Berkenhead, England: Willmer, cloth with gilt title. Foreword by Bernard Darwin. Excellent condition.

Royal Liverpool Golf Club, also known as Hoylake, is a storied venue in the history of the game.  Many championships have been held on its links and many a famed golfer has either played or competed there across the years.

Among the treasure trove of information in this 310 page book is a report on Bobby Jones winning the 1930 Open Championship with a score of 291, the lowest 4 round total to that point in time. Also inside are short biographies of famous Hoylake golfers John Ball and Harold Hilton.  The book also contains a variety of interesting illustrations.
