c. 1970s Robert Forgan pattern hand-hammered gutty ball. The often uneven nature of the hammering and varying size of the mesh squares are what makes hand-hammered balls so special. No two are the same. The ballmaker's work/pattern, made with one tap of a hammer at a time, is on full display. This ball has been used, but still looks good. A nice ball.
