This circa late 1890s "The Spalding" marked driver appears to be cut down to its current 40 1/2" in length, which works well for a lady or junior player. The old sheepskin grip is as old as the club, and it was likely the original grip that was removed before the shaft was cut and then reattached after.  The finish and neck whipping etc. are original. The sole is solid and smooth, but appears to have had its original varnish rubbed off in a few places.  A few areas on the head show light bag wear, but overall the club is in nice shape as the face shows very little use.

Condition is as shown in the photographs.
