Manufactured by James B. Halley & Co out of London in 1894, this beautiful unused Ocobo gutty ball features a molded mesh pattern and still has its original rich luster.  Golf Illustrated wrote of it in 1901, "Some of the new balls have puzzling names, and a great diversity of opinion exists as to their proper pronunciation. Thus the 'Ocobo' is pronounced sometimes with all the vowels short, and sometimes with the second one long. The name is believed to have some occult reference to Colonel Bogey...."

Condition as shown. This Ball is in the accompanying 19-ball group image.
