Each of these c. 1890s inkwells is marked "P T & Co S", the silverplate mark of Pryor Tyzack & Co., of Sheffield, England. This items are hefty for their size. A cut lead crystal ball is used for one ink well and a silverplate mesh golf ball (actual size) for the other ink well. These are elegant, well made pieces. Put on display, these would enrich any decore.
