At the 2000 US Open Tiger woods put on what Sports Illustrated called “the greatest performance in golf history,” as he won by 15 strokes at Pebble Beach in bad weather. The flag was not flown on the course during the event, but is the exact same flag, identical to the ones that were, and is a nice keepsake of that monumental achievement. The PGA and Checkered flags are also included in this lot. Great decorations~!
Made in 2005, the last flag in this group is actually three flags (red, white, and blue) in one. They are designed to show the strength of the wind: the top flag flutters when the wind reaches 6 MPH, the top and middle flags flutter when the wind reaches 12mph, and all three flags flutter when the wind reaches 18 mph.
