From the Fred X Fry collection, this lot consists of 3 putters.

1. A croquet style putter that Fry received in 1963 according to his label on the shaft. This putter has an aluminum head with a brass soleplate. Its grip and bent shaft to facilitate croquet-style putting, are original.

2. An Acrylic head with lead heel and toe weights at the heel and the toe.  This is an early acrylic putter head, demonstrated by the older hosel shape, material, and length. Also, the perforated grip is much like that found on various 1940s clubs.   Note that the hosel screwed into the head and was then pinned in place. Fry's inventory labels are on this club, but the inventory page is missing.

3.  Spin In Pat Apld for Putter with cylindrical head.  Another 1950s putter with its original shaft and Golf Pride grip.  The shaft under the top of the grip bends back towards the golfer.  This was done by design and the grip feels great! Fry's inventory label is on the shaft but the inventory page is missing.
