John Gouick from Dundee, Scotland, received a 1904 British patent that
covered this club. The thick, rounded sole transitions up across the
back of the blade to a thin top line. Gouick wanted the weight low in
his center-shafted putter to help facilitate a true pendulum stroke.
The head is in wonderful original condition, the back of the head bears all of its proper stamps, and the
shaft and sheepskin grip are original. A great club!
This club is top right in the group image that accompanies this lot. For more information on this club, see TCA2 Vol 1, p 223.
