The maker of Watson's 10 golf ball is not known. In checking this ball, the auctioneer believes it has a rubber core and gutta percha cover, a combination found in various other balls made in the early 1900s. The cover pattern of line-divided circles is unique. This ball, still retaining roughly 75% of its original paint, appears pretty much unused.
This ball is the center bottom ball in the group image that accompanies this lot.
