Here we have a three putters.  1.  Beckly Ralston putter with its original 30" unchromed steel shaft and square leather-wrapped wooden grip. 2. An unmarked brass head putter that appears to be made from two pieces, the hosel appearing to be pinned in place through the face. It has its original 32 1/2" shaft and leather-wrapped grip.  3. A Brass T-frame putter in its original black paint, original 34 1/2" shaft, and original rubberized wrapped grip.  Putters number 2 and 3 are likely to be one of very few or even just one of a kind.

All three putters are in nice condition. All are from the Fred X. Fry Collection, and their shafts bear his inventory labels.  Fry, the dean of American golf club collectors, was busy building his collection forty years before the Golf Collectors Society (now The Golf Heritage Society) was formed in 1970. Collecting with great passion, Fry amassed around 450 clubs, mostly putters. He cataloged, displayed, and cherished his treasures.  A number of national magazines ran articles about his collection of putters between 1936 and 1963.
