This matching set of c. 1930 Bristol Arista fancy face woods has a unique insert pattern of 7 small green dots inlaid in a large black dot that is inlaid in a white face insert. During the late 1920s and early 1930s, clubmakers sought to woo buyers with color and "graphic design." These clubs are prime examples of that effort, and, fortunately for us, they still remain highly attractive. The inserts show minor wear (the driver insert has a few spiderweb-thin cracks) but the rest of the heads do not. The pyratone-coated steel shafts and leather wrap grips are original.
