This tee appears to be unused. It still has its cord, tassel, and pin, and is remains in its original box. The rubber pedestal tee was designed to provide two different heights. If the tee was turned inside out, it wouid stand taller. The box is printed with images that show the two different heights that this tee could produce. The rubber is likely harder than it was a hundred or so years ago, so turning it inside out today is not recommended.
The bottom of the tee is marked "Two Way Tee, Compass, British ?7991?." Only a portion of what was a patent or registered design number remains. Made in Glasgow, Scotland, by MacLeland, Ltd. Gotta love finding such a great Scottish-made tee in the box.
