Made for Gerald R. Ford and engraved with his name on the top of the blade, this putter has its original 35 1/2" shaft and leather grip.  Ford, the 38th President of the United States, was an avid golfer and his personal clubs often bore his name.  The consignor of this club does not have any background to provide other than he knows who Gerald Ford was.  Another one of these clubs, made and marked exactly the same as this one, sold at auction in 2010 for $1135.  The club shows only light use.
