Offered here is a circa 1903 Kinnell patent putter with medium length blade made by Tom Stewart. Kinnell patent clubs are easily recognizable by the large gap between the top of the blade and the hosel.
The back of the head is
marked with Stewart's pipe cleekmark along with "Hand Forged in Scotland," "EE Foord Special," above it and "TSS Reg Trademark" below it.
The club has its original shaft, grip and line-scored face. Tom Stewart (of St. Andrews) was a prolific
cleekmaker for decades beginning in the 1890s and his work was well
known and widely respected.
Condition as shown in photos. This item is located at the far right of the group image.
