This outstanding box of
12 "Bobby
Cruikshank Indestructable Steel Tees" was made by the Multi Products
Corp of Plainfield, NJ. Metal tees in general had a short life span, as
they were rejected by the market in relatively short order.
Looking at these tees you could certainly see how the tees could easily
become lost after a shot and then found when mowing..... not such great
features back in the 1920s. But a great box of tees today!
Bobby Tees came in both red and yellow.
This box states that Bobby tees were designed, played, and endorsed by
Bobby Cruickshank, the famous Scottish pro who won 17 times on the PGA
Tour during the 1920s and 30s.
The box itself is in mint condition. Tees are red and show minimal wear likely just from movement in the box.
The second part of this lot, an empty "The Celluloid Tee" box was "Made by the makers of the Reddy Tee, The Nieblo Mfg Co, Inc New York NY." The top flap, while included, is no longer connected the box.
