Crafted by the Bridgeport Gun Implement Company, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, the head and shaft of this brassie are made from a single, solid piece of wood.  There is no neck joint.  The club is in its original condition and shows little use.  The face insert, brass plate on the sole, lead back weight, and leather-wrapped grip are original. Head and shaft are stamped "BGI Co".  The head is also stamped with BGI's rampant lion trademark.   A clean example.
