Along with the club name and patent info, the head also bears the intials "R.B." stamped in the back of the blade, along with "Jack Campbell Special" in an oval. Jack Campbell was a Scottish golfer who made a name for himself in Philadelphia--winning several championships there, including regional PGA title in 1926. The sole of the iron is stamped "Dedstop Mashie Niblic."
The head,
shaft and leather-wrap grip are original. The head has a nice dark patina. A beautiful example! This item is third down from the top in the group image.
