On Feb 11, 1926, Albert Percival and Earnest Whitcombe were issued a British patent that covered this putter.  The crescent-shaped, convex face of this putter was designed to help the golfer strike the ball with the same face angle even when the player's stroke might vary the position of the blade.

This example has its original shaft and leather-wrapped grip. The writing stamped on the back of the blade is all there and easily readable. A little more light cleaning of this head and it would spiffy up nice.  Remember, such heads were cleaned back in the day and when properly done, it does not diminish the value.

For more information on this distinctive putter, please see TCA2 V1 p296-297.
