This croquet-style putter is well made and balanced so it will stand on its own when placed on a solid, flat surface. It has a two-level head, a full brass soleplate, and small, cross-hatched face scoring. Croquet-style putters usually date prior to 1910, when they were outlawed by the R&A. This is the very putter pictured in The Clubmakers Art Volume 1 Page 248, and is in outstanding original condition. A signed copy of the page will accompany the club.
