Made by Elmer Holland, this putters sports a thick alignment inlay on the top of a thin mallet head.  The black inlay appears to be fiber and is stamped "Elmer Holland." Above and below the inlay is marked "BalanceLine" and "Putter." It is coated with a "gold" styled finish. The 33 3/8" shaft and leather wrapped grip are original.

This putter was once part of the Fred X Fry collection and the shaft bears his inventory ID labels. Fry's inventory pages record that Holland, a pro in the Bay area, made these clubs to order but was "not too successful" with his custom made putter business. How fortunate that a few of his putters survived!
