Original Red Side-Stamped OK Silver Town Gutty Ball. Made in 1901 by Silvertown for Spalding to sell, this ball shows a few strike marks by its name on one side but is pretty clean over the rest of the ball. The original paint remains in superb condition. First made in 1901 by Silvertown exclusively for Spalding, this ball is a true rarity. Harry B. Wood had one in his collection. The red identification stamps on three lines, midway between the pole and equator is quite different. A great ball!
This ball is top row second from the left in the accompanying group image.
