Covered under a 1903 US patent issued to Willie Dunn Jr., this center-shafted putter head is made from Pyralin, a type of vulcanized rubber, and is stamped "Kemshall Mfg. Co, Arlington, NJ" on the top of its head.  In a 1904 advertisement for this putter, the Kempshall Mfg Co stated that pyralin is "more resilient than wood and is waterproof and practically indestructible."

The original 33 3/4" shaft still has most of its sheepskin grip. Where the sheepskin itself is missing, the listing underneath remains.  There is a thin, small crack in the base of the hosel, but its nothing serious and not prominent at all.  There are three lead weights in the back of the head that are covered with Pyralin. Their circular outline is visible when viewing the back of the head.

Most Kempshall putters have a brass face, but this putter is original without the brass face and still has most of its light scoring lines. The white guide line atop the head is also made from pyralin and gives this head a nice touch of panache. Overall, this is an excellent club.

This club is easily recognized at the top in the accompanying group image of 10 clubs and second from the left in the group image of 4 putters.
