According to Kevin McGimpsey's The Collectible Golf Ball Directory, very few of these balls have survived, "so in any condition this ball will have a a high asking price."  The bonus is that the condition on this particular bramble example is exceptional. The IR solid gutty was introduced in 1890 by the Improved Golf Ball company, London, and produced in small numbers in the ensuing years.  During the course of their production these were made with either a molded mesh pattern or a bramble pattern, which this ball has.  This fabulous, unused ball is in near mint condition.
