The Clarke-T, made from bakelite, is designed with a track for the
"cup", so the golfer could align the tee in the direction of the ball
and the track would help the ball fly straight. Irwin Valenta in his book The Singular History of the Golf Tee calls this the Clark Track Tee. Circa 1928 and marked "Clarke-'T"
on the top of the tee.
Also included in this lot are two steel tees as pictured.
