Produced by JB Halley in 1911, this Halley’s Ball with its six-pole
bramble pattern is in unused condition. It features a beautiful, original
red paint (95% remaining) with a green dot on both poles. Golfers used red balls when
frost or light snow covered the ground, and sometimes when daisies were
in bloom. Red golf balls also came in handy if there were lots of sandy
areas spread round the course.
This unused Halley's ball would be a great addition to any ball collection.
