Produced between 1897 and 1900 in Chicopee, Mass., Spalding dish face niblicks have a rounded back and corresponding concave face. These clubs were designed to extract a ball from trouble, so they were made with heavy heads in order to pack a wallop. When given a waggle, this club is distinctly heavy!

The dish face niblick offered here has its original  38 1/4" shaft stamped "The Spalding" and original sheepskin grip. A wonderful and historical piece of early American golf.
