Marked with a Phoenix address, this Ping "Dalehead" Anser has
the same exact head shape as the Ansers marked with a Scottsdale
address, only the address on the back is different. To make these putters for the 1984 Ping Championship, (as it is stamped on its face) Karsten reused the original molds for the Anser putter, changing only the address plates in those molds.
The 1984 Ping Championship was an LPGA tournament that was held at the Riverside Golf & Country Club in Portland, Oregon, and won by Amy Alcott.
The Anser putters remain popular today. The provide the same great look
and
feel as found in the Scottsdale-marked Ansers. The 34 1/2" shaft has a Golf Pride grip and its original shaft band, though worn. The Anser remains one of the absolute best, most responsive putters in the
game.
