A beautiful mashie niblick produced by the company founded in 1896 by brothers David & Willie Auchterlonie. Stamped "D&W Auchterlonie / St. Andrews & North Berwick / Special / Warranted / Handforged" on the back of the head, the face features a beautiful dotted-diamond pattern.
The Auchterlonies actually acquired their iron heads from Robert Condie, and this one bears his cleekmark.
This club has its original sheepskin grip and 39 1/4" shaft. It remains in excellent condition.
