Dating to the early/mid 1890s, this transitional Tom Morris driver has a 44 1/2" shaft with only its underlisting remaining for a grip, but it still looks good at that!. The face is still solid, with no chips or cracks, but a few of the gutty balls it struck put distinct dents into it. The dented areas from many angles blend in to the rest of the face, from other angles they are apparent as they are when rubbing a thumb across the face. The "T Morris" stamp on the crown is and easy to see. The club is an honest soldier from the golf wars of the 1890s!
