Produced by the United States Rubber Co in 1930, the US Tiger was made three ways: with a mesh pattern cover, a dimple cover, and the rare circle w/round stud cover like the one offered here. This ball was advertised as follows: "The smooth circle-marked cover gives it tremendous run and perfect putting. A true-centre ball of course."
This particular US Tiger was given a light repaint back in the day. The ball looks great and shows very light use under the repaint. Because these images of the ball are much larger than the actual ball, the imperfections visible in the images are not noticeable in real life. In real life, this ball looks nearly perfect!
This Ball is in the accompanying 19-ball group image.
