Named after famed golfer Harry Vardon, Spalding began manufacturing the Vardon Flyer in 1899. In a 1901 advertisement it was celebrated as "Vardon's own ball! Manufactured in England from 'Special Gutta' and is without doubt the longest flying ball in the market today....Vardon claims for this ball a longer and truer flight."
This Vardon Flyer appears unused and still has most of its original paint. A fine Vardon Flyer solid gutty ball!
