Introduced in 1903, the Spading Wizard was advertised in 1904/05 as follows: "...the Wizard Golf Ball has solved the problem of rubber cored balls, viz: To produce a cover which will not crack, and which will stand any amount of "topping". We claim that the Wizard possesses every good quality of any other first-class rubber cored ball, and in addition, something which no other ball possesses - durability...."

This example has never been used.  It still has 95% of its original paint which still has its orginal luster.  While the ball is advertised as having a cover that will not crack, the paint has a few hairline cracks. Because this ball is magnifed much larger than life in the images, the smallest of blemishes appears quite large and noticeable.  In real life, these hairline cracks are extremely thin and hardly noticeable, blending in to the appearance of the ball when it is not magnified.

This Ball is in the accompanying 19-ball group image.
