Update 4-13-24.  The inside diameter of the mold measures 1.62 inches, the size of the old British Ball.  The other molds in this auction measure 1.68 inches

This bronze ball mold has a square dimple lattice pattern embossed "The ORO."  There is no record of this ball in ball reference books published to date. In Spanish and italian "oro" means "gold."

Both halves of the moid are matching, each half marked "6216" on its side.  There is also a ball press offered in this auction.  It is not included with this item but would well with it, as shown in lot zzz.
