This lot consists of an old cast iron ball press, likely made sometime in the second half of the 19th century. Turning the handle atop of the press will tighten or loosen the mold inside the press. This item is really heavy and in working order.
The ball molds shown in some of the images are not part of this lot. They are shown here for display purposes. However, this press will work well with either of the two ball molds, and they are offered separately as lot zzz and lot zzz in this auction.
